MCD Elektronik has conducted consistent quality management for years. To improve the high standard of quality and meet the demands of customers MCD Elektronik performs a certification of all operational procedures for the quality management systems according to ISO 9001:2008. Therefore, in the last week it was all about the topic ISO and the upcoming, two-day audit for the successful recertification process. Since last friday MCD Elektronik has completed the recertification process successfully in 2016 and the employees are happy about the newly designated certificate.
The internationally acknowledged ISO standard 9001:2008 refers to quality management systems in companies and organisations of every type and size. The certification demonstrates the quality of the company processes on the one hand and forms the basis for a structured and continuous improvement process on the other hand. The process quality is documented and visible for external purposes, at the same time the employees are made aware that they have to keep on working on the optimization of the quality management processes and therefore to improve the company´s performance and competitiveness. "We are determined to document our processes in a simple, transparent and comprehensible way as well as to live them actively in our company. The whole team is proud of the successful recertification. Of course there are always additional possibilities for optimization - that´s how we remain competitive in the future", says Claudia Reich, MCD´s quality management representative.
