Delivery of an inline system to Canada

End-of-line tester for tightness and functional tests of mechatronic components.

This project, an end-of-line tester, still has a long way to go before it arrives to a manufacturer of customized drive technology in Canada. There, the inline system will be used to assemble sealing rings and to check the tightness as well as all functions of mechatronic components.

The DUTs, which are mounted on goods carriers, are automatically transported via transfer belts to the assembly station. After arriving there, a sealing ring will be inserted and subsequently the tightness of the DUT will be controlled by vacuum and overpressure. In a second step, the functions of the mechatronic components are checked. Meanwhile, all data are
collected via the MCD TestManager.

In addition to the technical challenge, this project also had to pay attention to safety related regulations in the target country. But also the strict requirements of CSA conformity (similar to the CE mark in the European area) could not forestall the timely delivery of this extensive inline system.
