Once again CFO Petra Noske-Mahseredjian (left) and software engineer Tim Retzlaff (right) accompanied two students by the project "ProBerufGym".

The project "ProBeruf - career guidance at secondary schools" (shortly "ProBerufGym") by Steinbeis Innovation Center in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research introduced inspiring students from the 9th and 10th grade with close encounters with role models of different professions in various companies. The aim of this project is to minimize the drop-out rate of training professions in Baden-Württemberg through early orientation support.

Already two weeks ago, MCD was able to host this project (read more here). CFO Petra Noske-Mahseredjian and Software Engineer Tim Retzlaff were able to welcome another two interested students to continue the successful project day on 26th September 2018. After an informative company tour with insights into the application department, R&D and many other departments of MCD, the 9th grade students of the Kepler High School in Pforzheim experienced the profession of an "IT specialist". For this purpose the students undertook, together with Tim Retzlaff from the MCD development department, their first programming experiments. In the end they had built their own weather station with the help of the MCD USB Test Board.

Once again MCD Elektronik would like to thank all involved persons for the organization and participation. The whole team is proud to support young people looking for the right apprenticeship.
