When MCDs cooperation partner Meilhaus Electronic invites to its premium event "Hightech at the Olympic Tower" on May 15-16, 2019, the trade fair team of MCD Elektronik can not miss out. Because Meilhaus celebrates the 25th Anniversary of this event, it is supposed to be very special with its location 181 meters above the roof tops of Munich.
CEO Bruno Hörter and Business Development Manager Labib Feidy present the innovational application possibilities of the standard test system VTS 2030 at the MCD booth and with a specialized presentation on the topic "VTS 2030 - from manual test station to full automation". Within this lecture, an actual robot application is introduced that automatically tests PCBs optically and electronically.
Furthermore, the trade fair team informs about a new software tool which monitors the test processes of one or various interconnected test systems via mobile devices, controls the expirations and analyzes the test results online. These test results of a connected system can be accessed, for example, via a tablet or a smartphone without standing next to the a fully automated line. Statistics of whole test processes or from single test sequences and DUTs can also be opened live during the test. Within the world of "Internet of things" (IoT) and "Industry 4.0", this digital networking of measurement technology is yet another milestone.
