VTS 2030 Modular Measurement System
MCD's Modular Measurement System was developed based on a consisting plug system, related to the test system series "VTS 2030". It is a measurement system with a PCB basis that can be flexibly built with so-called Function Modules. The Bus Master founds the groundwork of the Modular Measurement System. Frequently used features are accomodated on it, for example on-board voltage generation (3,3 V / 5 V / +15 V / -15 V), two I2C bus, two counter inputs as well as a digital IO port.
The real range of functions of this system is determined by an individually selection of the Function Modules. These modules are connected to stackable module carriers in packages of four. That way, there can be up to 16 different Function Modules applied. By the easy possibility of changing and combining the Function Modules via plug connection, various test applications are possible in cooperation with the Bus Master. Special DUT controlling, as well as complex buses, diagnostic interfaces or parallel applications are standardized and easily implementable.
- Consists of a Bus Master, a maximum of four module carriers (stackable) and up to four Function Modules at each module carrier
- Distance between stacked modules approximately 15 mm, total height approximately 80 - 85 mm in full expansion

- Interface supply via USB, also without 12 V supply functional

- DigitalOut, AnalogIn, Analog and Digital-Mux Function Modules as a standard, flexible expandable for example with Multimeter, PWM, CAN/LIN or audio moduls
