For a well-known component supplier we deliver a testsystem for magnetic brakes. The system is integrated into an automatic indexing table and measures the sprag clutch- and detent torque of magnetic brakes on two parallel working stations. In the process speed torques occur between a few Nmm up to over 1 Nm. The fully automated test is controlled by an MS Windows PC. The PC communicates with the superior SPS. The system is programmed in LabVIEW and comprises all necessary parameterize- and analysis options of a test stand for car manufacturer suppliers.
