Last weekend, MCD got together with its customers, cooperation partners, friends and employees to celebrate the company’s 30 year anniversary.
In a festive and innovative atmosphere, the origin and the future of the company were at the center of attraction. On that Saturday, MCD invited customers, employees, friends of the family and long-time partner to celebrate and on Sunday the anniversary was shared with the public at the "open house" day.
With around 300 guests, the marquee was specially built on the company’s own premises in Birkenfeld for the festivities on Saturday. The visitors had a lot of "movement & action" spread throughout the day in addition to company tours and numerous stations offering highlights such as goal shooting, face painting and a helium balloon air race, entertainment for both adults and children. CEO Bruno Hörter opened the evening with a very personal speech and reminisced the history of the company. It was a great festival, one that will remain in our memory and the moemory of our guests for a long time. A warm thanks goes out to TV Birkenfeld women's handball team for their successful support.
The next day, Sunday, was "open-house day" for all – the intention was for the public to receive a glimpse into the premises and the everyday life of the MCD center in Birkenfeld. The ability to take a look behind the scenes of each department of the company, was also well acknowledged. Hundreds of visitors were informed about the technology used in the test systems and chatted over coffee and cake. Of course there was enough time for dialogue with our MCD employees as well. And so, the end of an eventful weekend was met only with enthusiastic and happy faces .
We would like to thank all visitors and of course all the volunteers. For us it was a great party and we look forward to many more successful years together.
