This week, a test system for examination of motherboards from navigation devices was delivered to an international automotive supplier. The FCT rack and the universal fixture from MCD Elektronik cobine a variety of functional tests in a single system.
This variety includes the verification of voltages, frequencies, antenna values and the current consumption. MCD's hardware components like the AudioAnalyzer accomplish tests of Bluetooth, GPS and audio functions. Also, the connections for data transfer like USB, WLAN, MOST, CAN, Serial ATA and BroadR-Reach are covered by the functional tester.
Two boards can be tested simultaneously by this test system.
