Measurement Technology Specialist Expands Activities in the Asian Region

Birkenfeld, January 28, 2015: The MCD Elektronik GmbH has paved the way for a permanent on-site service in China. In October 2014, the company moved into offices in the Chinese port of Shanghai. Currently, the first employee of the new offices, Long (Lance) Wen, completed a three-month intensive internship in Birkenfeld, the headquarters of MCD Elektronik. As of February 2015, Long Wen is responsible for the technical support and after-sales service of MCD Electronik in China. "For us, it is the first logical step to enter the Chinese market with local service support," said MCD Elektronik CEO Bruno Hörter about the office opening.  

The AHK Greater China, part of the German Chamber of Commerce abroad, supported MCD Elektronik in the search for the perfect Chinese employees. In addition, the "Office in Office" concept of AHK enabled the measurement specialists to expand an office branch in Shanghai.
