MCD Elektronik receives "TOP 100" signet
The most innovative medium-sized companies were awarded at the "TOP 100" contest for the 25th time. MCD Elektronik GmbH also belongs to these innovation leaders.
After an independent analysis of Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke's team for the Vienna University of Economics and Business, the awards for the innovation leaders are awarded by "TOP 100" mentor Ranga Yogeshwar.
Applications of SME's are evaluated under usage of about 100 pre-defined evaluation parameters. These parameters are separated into the categories "Innovative processes and organization", "Innovation climate" (involvement of employees), "Innovation promoting top management", "Outer orientation/open innovation" and "Innovation success".
MCD Elektronik GmbH is very proud to be part of the "TOP 100" members and its 120 global and national market leaders. MCD convinced especially in the categories "Innovation climate" and "Innovation success" but also scored pretty well in other categories compared to much larger companies. By this nomination to a top innovator 2018, MCD's focused engagement towards research and development was rewarded.

The ceremony took part at the 5th German SME Summit in the "Forum am Schlosspark" at Ludwigsburg. About 1.000 guests participated in this event where the TOP 100 innovators and the TOP 100 consultants were awarded.
Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke, the scientific leader of the TOP 100 contest, commented the honoration of the SMEs: "The way the TOP 100 members meet challenges is incredibly fascinating. They create new solutions for problems and follow economic wealth, growth and employment for our society through their creativity, determination and audacity."
TOP 100 mentor Ranga Yogeshwar was also impressed: "The TOP 100 are medium-sized companies that engage in the venture of change and are not afraid to let go of something old. People that are not afraid of something new but rather welcome the change. Entrepreneurs, whose companies maintain stability and success because of permanent adjustments."
The company compamedia awards the TOP 100 seal since 1993 to SMEs for special innovative strength and for outstanding innovation successes.
Its scientific leadership is dedicated to Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke since 2002. Franke is founder and director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Ranga Yogeshwar, science journalist and TV moderator, is the mentor of the TOP 100 contest.
