MCD has developed another software solution that is specifically tailored to customer requirements. The MCD PowerSupply Toolmonitor allows the controlling and monitoring of various power supplies. These are connected via an interface with the computer and can communicate with the Toolmonitor. Various consumers can be supplied fully and automatically by this communication. Additionally, electrical power supply is monitored and the voltage and the maximum current can be controlled by this software.
The program interface can be widely available and adaptable to the user requirements. In addition to the analog and digital display of measured values, a temporal sequence of voltage and electrical current can be visualized within a chart. With the help of an integrated script engine, all measurements and adjustments are performed automatically. In addition, it is possible to identify all comunications of the power supply to the Toolmonitor for a glance.
For third-party software, the Toolmonitor can be fully remote controlled. COM/DCOM or .Net-Assembly is used as an interface. This allows the Toolmonitor to be integrated in a large number of applications (Microsoft Visual Studio® (C#, C++, Visual Basic), Microsoft Office® (e.g. Excel®), Open Office®, LabView®, MCD TestManager CE).
