Single PCBs used in infotainment systems are tested with these three fixtures and the relating double racks from MCD Elektronik.
The functional tester, developed for an automotive supplier, combines various connection tests of the PCBs. These include voltage, current and frequency measurements, as well as the testing of USB and Video connections. Adjustment and tests of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS communication are set via RS232, CAN and BroadR-Reach standards.
Furthermore, the Non-Signaling tester allows testing of up to four PCBs. For these Non-Signaling tests in RF sector, no further devices for signalling connections are needed because there are generator and analyzer functions integrated in these testers. Thereby the average testing period of the PCBs is clearly reduced.
