MCDs trade fair team is happy about a successful productronica participation.

After three years of absence, a very successful productronica 2023 fair came to an end for MCD last week. From 14th to 17th of November, the most important representatives from the fields of electronics development and production met at the Neue Messe Munich area. Around 42.000 visitors came to find out about the latest innovations of 1.400 exhibitors from 45 countries in total. That means a high potential of success on an international level.

Among these more than 1.400 exhibitors, the company from Birkenfeld was also present in hall A1, one of the "SMT cluster halls" for specialists of measurement and testing technology and quality assurance. The standardized test concept "VTS 2030" with flexible cobot application quickly proved to be the "secret star" of the trade fair. Almost around the clock, clusters of people were around the collaborating robot, which autonomously performed all test steps for testing PCBs and sorted the tested PCBs according to the test result. As "artificial intelligence" and "sensor technology" were among the key topics at productronica, the shown test software with artificial intelligence and the cobot's intelligent safety sensors were also of great interest. Another highly relevant exhibit was the "Industry 4.0 Test System", which was presented with four test fixtures (boundary scan test, functional test, end-of-line test and optical inspection). The wide opening angle fixtures make this system ideal for automated operation in production lines or with robot support. At the same time, the new software platform "MCD TestMATE" supports parallel, asynchronous testing and automatic handling of multiple DUTs thanks to an extensive type management portfolio and a powerful resource manager.

Hobby barista and CEO of MCD Elektronik Hungary Kft, Gergely Boross, served traditional, extraordinary coffee creations such as "Cold Drip Coffee" or hand-brewed coffee from the CHEMEX machine. These specialties were particularly enjoyed with Black Forest gin as a cocktail or alongside a beer from the MCD home region.

The entire MCD team is thankful for the high amount of visits and interesting discussionsand is already looking forward to welcoming its customers and interested parties to electronica next year. This will also take place in Munich from November 12 to 15, 2024.
