At the beginning of this month, we rolled out and put into operation, one flash station for software updates of 10 End Equipments. The equipment consists of 5 drawers, in which the test items can placed in. The activation of the test items takes place through CAN and MOST. The test items have two Ethernet connections. The flash data is provided through the 1Gigabit Switch simultaneously to all test items under the Ethernet connection the evaluation data can be taken either from the network or locally of a computer. A built in router can also provide the evaluation data though the overall network service. This procedure is done synchronously for all 10 test items. An asynchronous procedure is possible, because every individual test item can be placed and flashed at any time, without affecting the condition of the other test items. Every test item is individually latched and scanned. The test items can be placed in optional locations.
