July 5th, 2008 was finally here. Our 25 year existence, gave us reason to celebrate with all our employees, a great number of their families and many of our customers and business partners. The celebration was held at the “Volksbankhaus” in Pforzheim.
The opportunity to visit our establishment in Birkenfeld and to take part on one of the numerous offered tours, or to just simply allow yourself to have a drink from the bar started at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
(Luckily we never ran out of snacks or drinks, because this was an anniversary gift given to us from the company “Vetter”).
At the same time, cold drinks and snacks were offered in Pforzheim. Shuttle services in a classic public transit-bus were supplied through our company. This allowed our guests to venture back and forth between locations.
Not only the children enjoyed our entertainers. Many guests were amazed over the skillful transformation of balloons into figurines, the magic tricks and the face paintings.
At 6:00 pm everybody gathered up at the “Volksbankhaus” in Pforzheim, to have a snack or appetizer before dinner was served. Meanwhile about
270 people were present. After a concise and partially emotional speech, held by our director Bruno Hoerter, dinner was served exactly at 8:00 pm.
At about 10:00 pm the desert table and cocktail were open for business. Shortly after, the first gifts were presented. Among the gifts was a 47.2 inch x 31.5 inch
big torte, shaped like a book, dedicated to Mr. Hoerter from his family, as well as a print on canvas of the “25 Year MCD Bay Leave Logo” which was made up of hundreds of single pictures taken from the everyday life at MCD.
An additional gift to the management from the MCD employees were 25 small hot air balloons with notes of “good wishes for the future”. The balloons were released at the same time the fire works took place.
After midnight a last meal was served outdoors. A delicious Chinese “Hot Pot” in an original commercial wagon.
Afterwards the party continued inside. D J's and light engineers made sure to provide a good atmosphere. Celebrations continued well into the early morning hours with good conversations, dancing, and just enjoying the companionship of friends and colleagues
After long and countless preparations for the anniversary party, the great effort, and the hours sacrificed even during time off, here is what the organizations team had to say:

have not been better calculated, the premises at the Volksbankhaus was well prepared and decorated, the food was delicious and the mood surpassed every notion.
We are pleased to our fullest with this evening”!

for the wonderful gifts. A special thank you to our organizations team composed of: Mrs. Petra Noske-Mahseredjian, Mrs. Laura Kuhn and Mrs. Manuela Carbone for their excellent accomplishment, and a thank you to everybody for their help and participation on this day. Just like the organizations team, I am also very pleased with the course of the events and could not have imagined a better company anniversary!
Such a beautiful celebration with customers, business partners, colleges and friends, in such a nice atmosphere as on this day, will remain in my memories for a long time!
