Groundbreaking Ceremony - MCD Takes Great Strides into the Future!

After obtaining the building permit, the long awaited new building project at the Dammfeld industrial park in Birkenfeld can finally begin.
The new industrial park project will begin exactly at the right time, because the capacity of the current office building in Birkenfeld is no longer sufficient. MCD is the first company now building in the new industrial park Dammfeld in Birkenfeld.
MCD Elektronik specializes in developing custom test and measurement systems. The systems are now delivered worldwide, for example to the automotive supply industry. Since the economic crisis now is a subject of the past, the company at its current location is positively bursting at the seams. For the groundbreaking ceremony, the management of MCD Elektronik, the local builder Rolf Mueller, a representative of the municipal council, Hartmut Ochner, representative of the Volksbank Pforzheim, Bernahrd Henn, and the contractor of the commercial construction company Schuhmacher, as wells as the whole MCD team met at the construction site.
After a speech given by director Bruno Hoerter of MCD, in which he talked about the companies history passed in review, he hopes for a growing and successful future together. After a toast with a glass of champagne at the Hohenreichstr 52, Mr. Hoerter invited everybody for lunch at the restaurant Taormina in Birkenfeld. The entire team is looking forward to this project to be advanced in great strides. On a 2806 square meter site, a new building for MCD is in progress; along with lots of space for new ideas.  Following the groundbreaking ceremony, the excavator started immediately digging the ditch for the foundation.
The new MCD building is planned to be fully completed by October of this year.
