The new year has just started and already a first highlight was coming up. As part of the "Schüler-Ingenieur-Akademie" (SIA) MCD Elektronik welcomed 14 students of Gymnasium Neuenbürg, to give them an insight into the activity areas of the measurement specialists.
This practice-oriented learning project, which aims to promote young talent in the field of technology has been divided into 2 project days, so that the participants can also practice themselves. Under the theme "Program your own little weather station using the USB-Test Board" the enthusiastic students improve their knowledge about soldering and programming. They were actively supported by MCD employees who invested a lot of dedication into this project. Of course, a tour of the company through software specialist Christian Schmidt on such a busy day was not missing. Through the resulting direct contact with customer-specific projects, the participants were able to experience the working environment of engineers.
MCD looks forward to continuing the SIA project on 22th January 2016 with the completion and testing of the weather station.
