With the development of the "Central Generator" a broadcasting station for different frequencies was prepared and delivered.
This system can create a plurality of signals at the same time. With the aid of high-frequency distribution it is possible to supply an entire production line with different signals.
Among these are the Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB), which is a digital transmission standard for the reception of digital radio, and satellite-based navigation systems such as the widespread GPS. The signals for the equivalent satellite navigation systems for an extensive registration from Russia (GLONASS) and China (BeiDou) can also be generated. For the test of satellite radios, configurable XM multibeam signals are provided as well.
Specifically, this means that the transmitter station may generate and distribute the following signals disruption-free:
- 8 x DAB+III
- 8 x DAB+L
- 15 x GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou
- 8 x XM multibeam
In addition, an intensive control, monitoring and HF level control is guaranteed.
