For the duplication and verification of HDD hard disks this station has been produced and delivered for a well-known automotive supplier. Already a few years ago MCD developed such stations into a standard structure, which goes into the second edition with this delivery. Instead of drawers, so-called desktop stations are now used to insert the hard drives. This supports a mondern design and reduces the height of the system. Additionally this hard drive duplicator can save an enormous amount of time due to a data transfer speed of up to 24 GB/minute.
Features of the clone station:
- Various copy modes make it possible to mirror unchanged disks or to duplicate partial data areas via an intelligent copying process.
- The station has up to 4 autonomous desktop stations with 9 frames and one master frame. So the station is able to copy up to 36 hard disks simultaneously or 4 different sources (master disk) can be used, which enables an asynchronous recording.
- The contacting of the hard drives is performed via the original cable and activated by an eccentric lever.
- The type to be created is selected via bar code, which will be checked during scanning.
- The correct allocation of the hard disks is ensured by a manual bar code readers and position sensors.
- The desktop stations remain completely locked until the end of the programming operation.
- Each desktop station is controlled via the MCD Toolmonitor Telnet, Toolmonitor Visu, Toolmonitor SerIO and the test software TestManager CE.
