Test line for the testing of control components from blower modules at automobiles.

A test line for mounting and testing of electronical components with four stations was delivered this week. The tested products are control elements of blower modules, which are used for air conditioning and ventilation systems in automobiles.

This line is divided in an ICT, FCT and EOLT station for electronical programming and testing of PCB's. A mounting station was implementet for the final assembly of the tested PCB and the housing.

The station of the In-Circuit Test (ICT) contains the testing of safety-relevant parameters of the controls module's PCB, for example the resistance values. The functional test station (FCT) includes the functional test, the programming, comparison, calibration, and reading out of various parameters. Next, the programmed and tested PCB is installed into the housing at the mounting station by means of a manual hand press. The final test procedure at the End-Of-Line test station (EOLT) verifies the presence of needed performance data and databases in the complete module.
