Moments of happiness, that the MCD Elektronik GmbH has experienced in 2019 such as the successful trade fair productronica, should be shared for christmas time. For that reason, MCD's management decided to donate the budget, that was used for customer christmas presents so far, to the charity "Operation Christmas Child".
Simultaneously, MCD's employees support the "Christmas Workshop" of the carrier association "Samaritan's Purse e.V." by preparation, packaging and dispatching of filled gift boxes. These are sent to the corresponding partner stations in Romania, Moldavia and Ukraine to distribute them to underprivileged children at christmas time.
On the 15th of November 2019, CFO Petra Noske-Mahseredjian and Application Manager Benno Pascalin represented MCD Elektronik at the opening event in Birkenfeld. The workplaces were shown and the concept was explained at this event. MCD's trainees and students will take over a support shift with their educational supervisors on the 28th of November.
Whoever wants to join this social engagement short-termed, is gladly invited. Gift boxes can be sent to the carrier association until the 30th of November and also the "Christmas Workshops" offer voluntary shifts in Berlin or Birkenfeld. Further important information can be found here.
