MCD Elektronik produces electronic test systems, especially for the automotive industry: A big number of all circulating car speedometer and revolution counter where tested with the help of products from this company.
The company offers test systems for all car parts powered by electricity: car radios, navigation systems, motor electronic, remote control keys and switches, to name only a few. The products of MCD can check for many different standard compliances given by the manufacturer.
With optimal test concepts geared towards the customer, as well as a wide offer of engineering, the company has made a breakthrough with suppliers and manufacturers and therewith fills a market gap. The company started in 1983 in Dobel with 4 employees and opened a branch in 2000 in Birkenfeld. There the engineering and software application department settled, the Dobel branch has the hardware department.
Today the company has 24 employees and assigns contracts to freelancers and partner companies. Senior Executive President Bruno Hoerter is in charge of the Birkenfeld branch and Siegfried Treiber is in charge of the company in Dobel.
