MCD Elektronik GmbH presents the new universal LowCost System
Birkenfeld, January 1st 2010: MCD Elektronik presents a multifunction measuring system, developed in house under the name LowCost System, or ULC for short.
The handy ULC System with USB measurement technology and touch screen operation is well suited for both, simple and complex products. Planning, software, and application design is easy and fast when resorting to many standard elements offered by the system. The standard design contains only components that are always needed.
Because of its compact design, the system is ideal for a small sized production plant. There it can be used for both, as a functional tester as well as for EOL testing. A small highlight is the mechanical implementation to operate the measurement system. Obtainable is an optimal and quick access to the needle bed without applying force. By simply changing the removable cartridge, the measuring system can be easily directed to other test items.
The measurement software TestManager CE from MCD Elektronik is also included in the package. Like the device itself, the software is just as easy to apply. The programming, tool monitors, debuggers and much more can be quickly implemented. Self optimizing test steps, a test interface and automated functions that can be adapted from the system description and pin assignment to the test item, are included in the software. The Toolmonitor Data Manager can assist with the continues monitoring of the production quality. This is an optional feature offered by MCD Elektronik.
MCD Elektronik has accomplished to develop a manageable measurement system with multiple expansion options. Simple, low cost, and flexible. The system therefore, does not bear the name to no avail.
