MCD Elektronik GmbH introduces a newer, modern version of the AudioAnalyzer
Birkenfeld, February 1st 2010: The Audio Analyzer is a software-based solution for analyzing and generating analog and digital signals in the area audio. With this software based solution, PC components with Microsoft Windows 2000® or subsequent operating systems (including Windows7®) can be used. With the new version 3.0 of the audio analyzer, MCD Elektronik GmbH sets new standards in measurement data acquisition and analysis. The software is characterized by a great audio functionality and very good technical characteristics. It offers a modern and user-friendly user interface and an extremely flexible design of the operating interface. Comprehensive measurement functions such as amplitude, RMS, frequency, harmonic distortion, phase, and much more can be done with very high accuracy in measurement calculation. The typical testing time response from 0 to 24 kHz are at 200 - 300 ms. Flexible measurements, or test series via freely programmable scripts with built-in editor can be performed via a simple command syntax. Independent, asynchronous operations with logging and debug output, and display of intermediate and final results can also be realized. Thu, a true parallel processing in the analysis is possible. The software also includes a powerful FFT analysis for the representation of the spectrum, easy to use filtering, powerful generators (AM, FM, PM); sweep functions as well as analog and digital inputs may be chosen via selected sound card. An automatic determination of the frequency and phase is performed by the software. The data can be imported and exported. The user has access to all Windows® mixer settings. Similarly, all settings can be loaded and saved via project files. The new software version supports multiple sound cards in one PC and can be remote controlled by any third party systems. In combination with the MCD Audio Volume Controller, the measurement signals can be adjusted. This serves as a control gear for audio measurement through PC sound cards.
